Why Is Good Mental Health A Priority?

We heard from the community that a lot of people are concerned about mental health. Good mental health is about how you think, feel, and cope with everyday life. Looking after your mental health is an important part of staying well. Just like eating healthy food or getting exercise, it helps you function, connect with others, and get through life’s ups and downs. When we take mental health seriously, everyone benefits. People are healthier, families are stronger, and communities become better places to live.

When your mental health isn’t in a good place, it can affect almost everything:

  • You might feel overwhelmed or constantly tired
  • It can be harder to make good life choices
  • Relationships can become strained
  • It can impact your physical health, like sleep, appetite, or energy levels.

If you, or someone you know, is feeling like that, you can talk with one of the free services below.
