Health Services Survey Results

4 November 2025

In April 2025, the Collaborative Care Project invited the Leeton community to share their experiences and opinions about local health services through the Leeton Health Services Survey. The response came from Leeton Shire residents as well as research conducted through health consumers, and service providers who came together to provide valuable insights into how our health system is performing and where improvements are needed.

Alongside the survey responses, this phase of the project also drew on several other important data sources, including:
Interviews with local General Practices, which provided practical perspectives on service delivery, workforce challenges, and opportunities for collaboration.
• A Health Professionals Planning Workshop, which brought together more than 20 local health professionals to identify strengths, priorities, and future directions for improving care.
Statistical data on the Leeton population, helping to map demographic trends and health indicators that influence community health needs.

By bringing these sources together, we’ve built a clearer and more comprehensive picture of what’s working well — from the dedication of local providers to the strong sense of community support — and where gaps and challenges still need attention.

These combined insights are now shaping the next stage of the Collaborative Care Project, guiding how we plan, design, and deliver more connected and sustainable health services for Leeton.
