Community voting opens for Eden health and wellbeing initiatives

27 August 2026

Local people in Eden can now have their say on six ideas aimed at improving health, wellbeing and social connection through the Eden Collaborative Care Small Grants initiative.

The initiative offers grants of $500 to $5,000 for grassroots projects that support healthy living, stronger community connections, and greater awareness of health and support services. A total of $20,000 is available for projects based in Eden.

Following a four-week application period, six local initiatives have been shortlisted by the Eden Collaborative Care project group. The decision now goes to the community, with people across Eden invited to vote for the ideas they would most like to see funded.

The six shortlisted initiatives address important themes such as water safety for children, social connection for teenagers, high school student wellbeing, and healthy ageing.

Community members can vote for their favourite initiatives online from 27 August to 10 September 2026.

The voting page can be found on the Eden Collaborative Care webpage.

The Collaborative Care program is facilitated by RDN Health in partnership with the NSW Ministry of Health, local health providers, and community organisations.
